Some of the children at St George parish (and many other parishes in the area) are at Totus Tuus this week. This is a robust Catholic summer program for children that helps them to deepen their faith and appreciate the grace of what it means to be Catholic. I encourage everyone, right now, to stop for a moment as soon as you finish reading this, and say a prayer for those children. Also say a prayer for all the children in our parish. Include children who are struggling, hurting, and confused about their faith. Realize that the world is against them and wants to destroy their souls. Call upon St. Michael and all guardian angels to protect them from the many bad influences that they encounter every day, and ask the Blessed Virgin to intercede on their behalf. Pray that God will use us to raise up a generation of faithful children who will say no to the world, and yes to the traditions of the Catholic faith. Both now, and unto eternity.
